And it all takes place in an ideal place: Villamanín, a small town in the mountains of León, at an altitude of 1,200 meters. That is where our factory is located and where we produce our cured meats according to our customs, preserving the traditional smoking process with oak wood. Our work has always been led by the same conviction: maintaining the highest quality standards, which are based on our traditions, but also on innovation and development. To speak about Embutidos Ezequiel means to speak about its founder, Ezequiel García.
Embutidos Ezequiel story began in 1945, when Ezequiel first started selling meat products, taking advantage of the environment and the traditions of the surrounding area.
At that time, he placed the factory in the upper floor of his first restaurant, where he began the work of elaborating chorizo and cured ham.
His son, Amador, drove the business forward and expanded it, so the small factory opened by his father spread in the national market. The range of products offered became also wider and important technological innovations were introduced in the facilities, but never forgetting about traditional flavours and manufacturing processes.
Our present and our future
In the nineties, the third generation of the family took over the values of effort and dedication, with Ezequiel García in the foreground.
Currently, he is the one leading the company and putting all his efforts to offer raw materials of the best quality and preserve tradition. After succeeding at a regional level, Amador’s eldest son continues with their pursuit of continuous improvement and aims at the internationalization of Embutidos Ezequiel products, whose quality is guaranteed by several certifications.
