The thrilling adventure of manufacturing our own sausages began in 1945. Since then, we have remained faithful to our genuine flavour, but trying to do better every day. Over these last 70 years, we have consistently based our work on three fundamental pillars.
Our respect for tradition is the first one. All the elements involved in our manufacturing process of our products is carefully selected to guarantee only best qualities. The excellence of our pork from Castile-Leon, the intensity of our paprika with Protected Designation of Origin ‘Pimentón de la Vera’ and our purple garlic from Las Pedroñeras are some of the keys to the final result. Moreover, by using natural gut casings for our sausages and oak wood for smoking, we achieve aromas and flavours that satisfy the most delicate palates.
Tradition, however, is not at odds with complying with the most demanding regulations. In order to improve the quality of our services and that of our products, we strive to meet the highest quality requirements. In this regard, we are certified by IFS Food 6 and SAE (Specific Self-Monitoring Systems for Export). Furthermore, our beef jerky bears the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) ‘Cecina de León’ and we hold the Collective Mark ‘Chorizo de León’ as well as the Guarantee Mark ‘Tierra de Sabor’. We also comply with the Iberian (Ibérico) Quality Standard (Royal Decree 4/2014).
Last but not least, our activity is based on continued innovation and updating. Our R&D team is constantly working on the creation of new products and the development of novel manufacturing processes. Our aim is to make our products compatible with a healthy lifestyle, but never forgetting our true essence: the greatest respect for a tradition that has stood firm for over 70 years.

Pursuing their efforts to expand internationally, Embutidos Ezequiel carried out a trade mission in Belgium in June 2017. This mission was possible thanks to the aid for the internationalisation of enterprises granted by the Government of Castile-Leon, by means of the Institute for Business Competitiveness (ICE) and with support from the European Regional Development Fund. Embutidos Ezequiel had the opportunity to promote their most important products, such as their cecina, chorizo, lomo or salchichón, as well as their new formats and presentations. The quality of these products and their traditional manufacturing methods were highly appreciated by the distributors who attended the mission.
During 2017, Embutidos Ezequiel has also translated their website into three languages: English, French and German. This too was made possible through the aid for the internationalisation of enterprises granted by the Government of Castile-Leon, by means of the Institute for Business Competitiveness (ICE) and with support from the European Regional Development Fund.
